The boys are finally asleep and I am putting away some laundry before I head to bed and I open Justin's closet and I see this shirt hanging in his closet. This is the shirt he wore today. It is dirty, inside out and backwards....but it is hanging on a hanger in the closet. The ironic thing about this is I have never asked him to hangup his clothes nor have I ever seen him to do this. I have found dirty clothes in his dresser drawers quite often but I have never seen him hang up a shirt. I guess I am amazed at how fast he is getting this whole life thing figured out....it took me quite awhile to figure things out and he just knows whats up! He started saying "I know mom" the other day. I thought your kids didn't start sayin' that 'til they were teenagers???

2 Peas in a Pod
I started doing some did scrapping. I originally was against this and probably wouldn't be doing any digital but my craft room was turned into a nursery and I have no space to scrap unless I tote all my stuff to the kitchen table and have a mess there for weeks. We have four bedrooms and only three are being used for bedrooms; why not use the forth bedroom for my crafts??? Well...Jason felt it imperative to his survival that the forth bedroom be used for the "MAN CAVE". In the "MAN CAVE" you will happen upon brain numbing items such as PS3 and other similar nonsense.
So, Jason bought PhotoShop Elements for my Mother's Day gift and I have enjoyed learning how to digi scrap and I do like the no-mess concept. I still want to scrapbook and make cards but for my life right now, digital seems to work perfectly.

I love this picture of Justin and Logan. Looking at the picture reminds me how much Logan looks like an Allred. He reminds me of Melanie children. Logan is weighing a little over 23 lbs and is 6 months old, Justin is 4 yrs old weighing around 37 lbs.

Logan - UR such a big boy!!!
Logan on the scale at his check-up. He is such a big boy at 4 and half months old. We took him in for some shots and he had an ear infection. The only times he cried was in this picture (he doesn't like the cold) and when the dr. checked his ears (he was very mad). He didn't cry during the shots. Logan is very healthy, besides his ear infection. His hemangioma is doing very well. It flares up when he cries but other then that it is almost unnoticeable. Logan's face always brighten's up when he sees his brother Justin.

Justin's 1st day of Preschool

Justin and Mrs. Mindy (preschool teacher). Justin was so excited to go to preschool. He woke up so excited; he was happy to get dress and ready. He said "I am sooo happy!" When I picked him up from preschool he was not disappointed. He had a blast. Thank you Mrs. Mindy for making preschool so amazing for Justin.

Logan Ronaldo
Logan is our newest addition. He was born on March 25th. He weighed 8 lbs 9 oz and was 19 inches tall. He has been growing and growing and currently weighs 18 lbs. 11 oz. Super big boy!!!Logan is such a sweet baby! He is so fun to hold, hug and kiss. He has the chubbiest checks and arms and....well he is all chub.
You may ask...where did we come up with the middle name??? My dad's name is Ronald and since Jason served his mission in Spain we used the spanish version of my dad's name which is Ronaldo!
Justin is really stepping up as the big brother and helps mom a lot.
We blessed Logan in WA the end of May. Jason gave him a beautiful blessing!
We are all enjoying our little Logan and love him tremendously! Now if he would only sleep through the night!!!

Christmas 2008
We had a fun Christmas this past year. We had Jason's family on the phone as we opened presents. It was very sweet to have some Company. Justin had us remove each toy from each box as he opened them. It was very tiresome to unwind all the wires and such. It was fun to see Justin's reactions to his gifts this Christmas.
We headed to UT when Jason got off work on the 26th at about 3a.m. We had a great time in UT and enjoyed having snow, which completes our perfect Christmas. Thank You mom and dad for putting up with Justin and I being sick. We love you dearly and appreciate you taking care of us.
I like this picture of Justin. He has lined up his new cars, bumper to bumper. I worry about him having OCD issues. Weird-O!

Marathon - I'm a finisher!!!
The shirts around our waist was due to the fact of seeing to many other people ugly bumms, we were scared that other people were thinking the same thing about our's that we were thinking about their's. Needless to say the shirts stayed on the entire time.
This is my dad. Isn't he the cutest! He would meet us a few hundred yards from where all our fans were waiting to see what we needed....water, gatorade, goo, vasaline, a replacement (HEHE)...he would run back to where everyone was and get what we needed. What a great dad! Kami and I definitely couldn't have finished without all our support. Love you all!
I think this is around the twenty mile marker...I see that Melissa is running with us now. She is one of Kami's friends and she jumped in around mile 17 for morale support. Running a marathon is so mental. Melissa's pep talks really pulled us through. Jason jumped in at mile 21 and ran to the finish with us. He was a great help to us as well. We both finished and Kami broke her record by over 30 minutes from her previous marathon. Good job sis! Oh and by the way...these smiles are fake!!! Someone shoot me.
I am actually wanting to run another one. Bring it on. It was awesome!!! Jason is thinking of running one with us in 2009. If you haven't ran a marathon...do it; it is the most gratifying feeling to cross the finish line after months, miles and hours of training!!! It doesn't get much better then this!!!!

Labor Day Race - 8-Miler
What a way to start off a Holiday. The race was a lot of hills. I didn't realize that there was a hill that went almost straight up for an entire 1.5 miles. Holy Moly! It was pretty intense. I felt awesome...once I finished. I ran the race with a few friends. Mindy Burns, Erika Lewis & Margie Hess. To view the elvations click the title (Labor Day Race - 8-Miler), woohoo!

Fresh Do

Justin just got a hair cut for his two year old pictures. He was a good boy and we got some really good pics. Other then that we are still surviving here in Tucson. It has been raining a lot lately. I have eaten a bag of candy corn each day this week. I really have a problem. The good news is that the six bags I bought are now gone. I just have to not buy any more. Jason is doing well, he went running with me last night, he is such a great motivator. This week is my peak week with 40 miles total. CRAZY!
